John Green
It’s midnight here on the east coast of the US, meaning that The Fault in Our Stars is officially a thing that exists in the world.
I hope you guys enjoy the book and force your friends and family to buy it and whatnot, but mostly I just want to say thank you. On so many levels, I could never have finished this book without the support and goodwill of the nerdfighter community, and also without the hugely fulfilling and encouraging intellectual engagement we share, whether it’s conversations with Vi Hart about the structure of the universe or reading comments about the merits of cable TV. So thank you, and thanks for reading.
You can get The Fault in Our Stars at Amazon, on your electronic reading device, at your local independent bookstore, or wherever books are sold.

It was truly amazing. I honestly loved every bit of it, even if I did spend the last half hour crying off and on. It was so good. It might even be my favorite John Green book…I don’t actually know yet because it’s still so new, and every new book it’s like “Oh this one might be my…
And believe me, I mean that in the best way possible.
Tore through it in one sitting. It was, to borrow a line from Hazel Grace (and Emily Dickinson), heavenly in its hurtfulness. Terribly, wonderfully, heartbreakingly beautiful.
John, I cannot thank you enough for the opportunity to have met Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters— whether or not they will “live forever in our memories.”
I have just finished The Fault in Our Stars, and I just want to say thank you.
Thank you for writing a novel that is incredibly heartbreaking and miraculous and simple and ridiculous and so, so real. Thank you for making me sob and ponder the vast mysteries of the universe and replay you saying, “You look incredibly handsome!” over and over and over while I roared with laughter. Thank you for using your ability to twist words together to tell such a quietly heroic story. Thank you for sharing these characters with us, for allowing us to fall in love with them.
Thank you so much, John Green.
As they say in our hometown, Don’t Forget to Be Awesome, and you certainly didn’t.

As much as I disliked Finchel throughout the seasons, I gotta admit, the final scene was heartbreaking. Finn is a hero for letting Rachel go. So,...
