Oh my god, it’s too long since I’ve had French toast. And I have proper maple syrup too! 

Actually, I personally think the English are much more francophobic than the Americans. (Remember that whole “freedom fries” movement?) I haven’t found anything regularly referred to as being French. French fries are chips, and French toast is eggy bread. Oy vey.
