I have just finished The Fault in Our Stars, and I just want to say thank you.
Thank you for writing a novel that is incredibly heartbreaking and miraculous and simple and ridiculous and so, so real. Thank you for making me sob and ponder the vast mysteries of the universe and replay you saying, “You look incredibly handsome!” over and over and over while I roared with laughter. Thank you for using your ability to twist words together to tell such a quietly heroic story. Thank you for sharing these characters with us, for allowing us to fall in love with them.
